Natalie R. Dimas, 41, died on Sunday, September 25, 2016. Natalie fought a brave and courageous battle against cancer, but it overpowered all her gallant efforts. We will miss her deeply, but we console ourselves knowing that she is no longer suffering discomfort and pain. Natalie was born March 4 , 1975, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Benito Jr. and Gloria Ramirez. She was a lifelong Calallen area resident. Her last employment was at the Calallen East Elementary School as a Teacher’s Aide. She loved helping the teachers and children. Her ready smile, jokes, and resounding laughter attracted a multitude of friends. Natalie’s sweet, sincere, and warm demeanor was genuine and special. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and daughter. The apple of her eye, her daughter Dolores. Together, Natalie and her beloved husband and best friend, Elias Dimas, dedicated their lives to Dolores’ care and well-being. She is survived by her loving husband, Elias Dimas; daughter, Dolores; son, Elias Dimas, Jr.; her mother, Gloria Ramirez; and a brother, Mario Ramirez; niece, Giselle Ramirez; nephew, Austin Benito Ramirez; her remaining family survivors include numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins from Corpus Christi, Houston, Waco, San Antonio, and El Paso, Texas; to include family members from Florida, Illinois and Arizona. She is preceded in death by her father, Benito Ramirez, Jr.; grandparents, Benito Ramirez, Sr. and Celestina Ramirez, Mele and Dolores Rivera, an aunt, and three uncles. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Sawyer- George Funeral Home Chapel in Calallen. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 at St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Robstown Memorial Park.
