Nancy Ellen Holbrook Lofton, 91, of Tomball, Texas entered into the eternal presence of her Lord on October 10, 2015. She was born in Marietta, Oklahoma on November 16, 1923 to William and Bessie Parks Holbrook. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Holland and her husband, Deryl of Tomball, Texas; her son, Dennis Lofton and his wife Swanna of Burnet, Texas; her sister, Betty Bookout of Corpus Christi, Texas; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great grandchildren . Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward O. Lofton; her daughter, Nancy Sue Hardesty; her son, Edwin O. Lofton; two grandsons, Steven Holland and Jon Lofton; and five sisters, Della Holbrook, Ethel Robbins, Lola Bearden, Mallie Collins, Clara Allen, and Irene Owen. A loving mother and friend, she was a long time member of the Nazarene Church where she devoted much of her time and energies to supporting missions and missionaries. She loved the Lord and demonstrated it in her love and devotion for children. She served her church and community in various capacities as church board member, a Sunday School teacher, director of a Christian Day Care, and church volunteer. Visitation will be from 10 :00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 with Pastor Rick Milby officiating. Graveside services will follow at Robstown Memorial Park Cemetery.
