Murriel Smith

Murriel Lacy Smith, 99, was called home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2012. She was born on December 20, 1912 in Stafford County, Kansas to James and Bertha Lacy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Smith and her daughter, Twyla Charlene Morgan. She is survived by her son, Larry (Mary Jayne) Smith of Corpus Christi, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Robert Simmons officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Kinsley, Kansas at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, October 26, 2012. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Annaville Baptist Church.
