Monica Boone

Monica Rose Boone of Corpus Christi, Tx. passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at her home after a brief illness. She was 28 years old. Monica was born on July 2, 1993, to parents Monte Dale Graham and Rebecca Boone. A lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, she graduated from Tuloso-Midway High School. Monica had a very close and special relationship with her cousin, Paul W. “Bo” Powers. He played an integral part in her care with immeasurable amounts of love, care, and compassion during her illness and throughout her lifetime. They always had eachothers backs. She will forever hold a special place in his heart. Monica had a beautiful soul and a very giving heart. She gave the ultimate gift by blessing 2 beautiful families who were not able to have children of their own. She had an inner spark of energy that illuminated a room and brought warmth to those privileged enough to encounter her bright smile. She loved llamas and pink flamingos, always saying that the pink flamingo was her spirit animal. Monica’s talkative and humorous nature was a joy to her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her mother, Rebecca Boone of Nevada; grandparents Ron and Pat Boone; daughter, Keitlynn Dream Custer; 2 sons; 2 brothers, William Mokuiki and Charles Dylan Graham; step-mother, Audrey Graham; beloved aunt, Ka-Lynn Graham (Kimberly Bradfute) all of Corpus Christi; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Monte D. Graham and grandparents J.W. “Dub” and Gayle Graham all of Corpus Christi A visitation will be held Monday July 26, 2021 at Sawyer-George funeral home in Corpus Christi at 11:30 am, followed by funeral services at 12:30 pm . Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery immediately following the services. The family would like to invite all to come and visit and share laughter, stories, and hugs to clebrate the life of this beautiful woman at the home of Ka-Lynn Graham and Kimberly Bradfute afterwards. 9341 Moon Beam Trl Corpus Christi TX. 361-585-5186 for info or directions.
