Minnie was 76 years old and lived in Corpus Christi for 60 years. She passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Thomas G. Roe; her brother, William “Bill” Goodwin; her sister, Jewel Simpson & her daughter Deborah McDaniel. She is survived by her children, Darla Baxter, Karla (Mike) Coker, William (Debbie) Roe; her siblings, Ray Goodwin & Oscar Goodwin & her in-laws, Brenda & Bob Bonaventura; grandchildren, Jason Rogers, Jennifer Rogers, Cassy Jenkins, Jacob Baxter, Keagan Bradley, Kami Cooper, Kenzie Coker, John Coker, Thomas Roe, Dakota Roe, Dalton Roe, Montana Roe and Hayden Roe. Minnie Bell worked in the food service industry for forty years, most currently being the owner of Kountry Boy Kitchen & Katering. She delighted many people with her delicious homemade pies & desserts. She was loved by many in the community. She attended Annaville Baptist Church where she was a charter member. She loved playing Bunko with her “Bunko Babes”. Visitation will be from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, January 4, 2013 at Annaville Baptist Church with Brother Robert Simmons officiating. Burial will be at Robstown Memorial Park. Pall Bearers will be Jeff Beavers, Britt Black, John Koster, Larry Morgan, David Washington & Kyle Zickefoose.
