Mildred Faulkenberry

It is with great sadness that the family of Mildred Lanell Faulkenberry announces her passing on Thursday September 13, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Mildred Lanell was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Mildred Lanell was born on April 10, 1937 in Austin, Texas. She was a long time resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Mildred Trammell and Joseph Cunningham, her brother, Bill Cunningham, her husband, Jim Faulkenberry. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Haynie (Jim Haynie); her son, Roy Faulkenberry (Tamera Franklin); three grandchildren, Shannan Alvarado (Armando Alvarado, Jr.), Courtney Albert, Wade Faulkenberry (Erin McDade), ten wonderful great grandchildren; her niece, Patricia Cavin (Mike); her nephew, Steve Adams (Mary); sister-in-law, Doris Cunningham and many loving friends. A funeral service in memory of Mildred Lanell will be conducted on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 3316 Hummingbird Lane, Robstown, Texas 78380. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 4607 FM 1889 Robstown, Texas 78380. A catered dinner will follow at St. John Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall.
