Michael Allen Webster, age 59, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away November 12, 2013. Michael was born August 27, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Garland and Betty Glenn Muma Webster. He served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1979. He worked in the oil patch for twenty-six years in West Texas and South Texas in oilfield sales and service. Michael was a member of Arlington Heights Church of Christ and loved his church family very much. He was well known for sense of humor and his Bar-B Q Ribs. Michael was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by parents and is survived by his wife, Glenda Webster of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Sara (Kevin) Floyd of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Angela (Lance) Hays of Allen, Texas; son, Brad (Jessica) Sperry of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Sandra (George) Webster-Boisineau of North Beach Michigan, Patti (Bill) Palmer of Old Town, Florida; grandchildren, Kolton and Logan Jones of North Beach, Maryland, Zachary and Madison Hays of Allen, Texas, Layne and Logan Sperry of Corpus Christi, Texas, Alexus Cavazos, Raeann Cavazos, Samantha Cavazos and Donavin Cavazos all of Corpus Christi, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with David Srygley and Joe Barnett officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to the American Cancer Society or the New Century Hospice.
