Mevlynn Raye Calk, 72, joined the love of her life in Heaven on January 3, 2015. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on November 11,1942. Mevlynn had a loving, generous heart. She loved doings things for others. Over the years Mevlynn has spent countless hours raising money for Relay for Life. Nueces County 4-H has been a big part of her life as well. Mevlynn was an avid reader. She loved going to bunco, playing bingo and card games. Mevlynn will most be remembered for her love of life and family. Mevlynn is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Calk; her mother, Mary Anderson; her father, Raymond Callaway and her brother, Danny Callaway. She is survived by her daughters, Beckie Noakes (Blake Ranly), Traci (Jeff) Klepac, Tammie Murray, TJ (Mark) Roznovsky, Sunnie Jo (Dusty) Stewart; her grandchildren, Wade and Kourtni Klepac, Brandon and Rachelle Klepac, Shey Murray, Collin Murray, Clara, Luke, Leah, and Levi Roznovsky, Cutter, Codi Jo, and Cooper Stewart; her great-grandchildren, Kamille and Kotton Klepac and Shiloh Klepac; numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends. Visitation will be Monday January 5, 2015 from 3 to 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 to 8 P.M. at Sawyer George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Cuero, Texas at Hillside Cemetery at 3 P.M. Pallbearers will be Jeff Klepac, Andy Murray, Blake Ranly, Mark Roznovsky, Dusty Stewart, Wade Klepac, Brandon Klepac, Shey Murray, Collin Murray, Cutter Stewart and Luke Roznovsky.
