Melba Jauer

Melba Ruth Jauer, 78, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away March 11, 2016. She was born August 17, 1937 in Nueces County, Texas to Edwin and Ella Mae McMeans Schroeder. Melba was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and was a graduate of Del Mar College. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edwin D. “Dick” Schroeder. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bryan Jauer of Corpus Christi, Texas; her children, Karen (Rick) Edwards of Sinton, Texas, Deanna (Matt) Snyder of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Melissa (Robert) Pinkerton of Corpus Christi, Texas; a sister, Carol Urbanovsky of Robstown, Texas; a sister-in-law, Becky (David) Machicek of Victoria, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Sarah Nye officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
