Mary Taylor

In memoriam of Mary Taylor, 98 who passed away on November 21, 2021, of a sudden illness. She was born in Skidmore, Texas on September 13, 1923 to Teofilo and Candelaria Garcia.

She was raised with 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She married Harold Lee Taylor on February 19, 1944 and was married for 70 years until he passed on February 19, 2014. Mary was a loving wife, a nurturing mother and a beautiful person to everyone she met.

She is survived by her sons, John (MaryAnn) Taylor, of Vail, Arizona, Rex (Janet) Taylor of Corpus Christi, Texas and Robert Taylor of Temuculah, California; her daughters, Ayala (George) Munoz, of Temuculah, California, Kathryn Charba of Houston, Texas, and Janet (Troy) Thibodeaux of Churchpoint, LA along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces and many friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; sons, Darrell Sean Taylor of Corpus Christi, Texas, Sonny Lee Taylor of Fredricksburg, Texas and Bobbie Sue Taylor Guynes of Fredericksburg, Texas also some grandchildren and a great grandchildren.

The visitation will be held at Sawyer George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the  funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m.. The interment will take place at Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas following the funeral services at 2:00 p.m..
