Mary Ordner

Mary Beatrice Ada Ordner, age of 71, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away on June 2nd, 2022. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on December 8, 1950 to Irene and Virgil Hattenbach. Mary had a passion for casinos and even opened a few herself for many years. She retired to be the best Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3837 and in her early years she was a part of the South Texas Trail Riders.

Mary was preceded in death by her Mother (Irene), Father (Virgil), Brother (Bruce), Sister (Sissy), and her first Son (Ron II).

Left to cherish Mary’s memories are her Children Ryan Ordner (Erin Minter), Granddaughter Ashley M Ordner (Ashley R Ordner), Brothers Guy Hattenbach (Jeano), Robert Hattenbach (Crystal); her two special nieces, Joyce Temple and Sherry Hattenbach; and too many to count further more. Her family was large and she loved every single one of them. Heaven needed a Hero and Heaven called upon Mary to be that Hero. She will be missed in the hearts of everyone she touched.

Visitation will Thursday June 9, 2022 from 3:00-8:00pm, with the Rosary at 7:00 pm. The Rite of Christian Service on Friday June 10, 2022 at 10:00am at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at Old San Patricio Cemetery.
