Mary Jane Baronette Helpert, 77, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 in Round Rock, Texas where she had been living since August, 2014. Mary was born on August 17, 1937 in Welsh, Louisiana to Lucien and Louise Baronette. This is where she met and married her husband, Leon Helpert. They moved to Robstown, Texas after the birth of their two daughters. Mary worked for the Department of Agriculture for 44 years before her retirement in 2004. She also worked part-time as a cashier for Joe Cotten's Bar-b-q. She loved her farmers she worked with and she loved her Cotten's family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Leon Helpert. She is survived by her daughters, Roxanne Lublin of Salt Lake City, Utah and Brigette Knoblauch (Ronnie) of Corpus Christi, Texas; her son, Brady Helpert (Rebecca) of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren, Callie Adkins (Kris) of Portland, Texas, Hunter and Lindsey Lublin of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mark Knoblauch and Katrina Albert (Keith) of Corpus Christi, Texas and baby boy Helpert of Austin, Texas, due in August; her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Topher Adkins of Portland, Texas, Addison and Keagan Williams, and Keirsten and Karah Albert of Corpus Christi, Texas. The Rosary will be recited Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 6 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas with viewing from 4-6 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11 A.M. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with burial to follow at Robstown Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Katrina Albert and her husband, Keith Albert, Mark Knoblauch, Callie Adkins and her husband, Kris Adkins and her nephew Todd Mayeaux.
