Mary Hatch

Mary La Nelle Manlove Hatch, 77, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on March 8, 2017. She was born June 17, 1939 in Robstown, Texas to Nellie and Marshall Manlove. Mary graduated from Tuloso-Midway High School in 1957. She was active in church, served as Bazaar Chairperson and on the Parish Council of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed sewing, and making crafts for family and friends, but most of all, she loved to dance. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Marshall “Bubba” Manlove. Mary is survived by her daughter, Terri (Hal) Winsauer of La Vernia, Texas; her two sons, Jerry (Angie) Hatch of Madison, Alabama and Dean (Kerri) Hatch of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren, Laura (Kenneth) Dodson, Gwenn Winsauer, Ashley Hatch, Katrina Hatch, Brandon Hatch, Devon Hatch, Kinley Hatch and Kristin Hatch; and four great-grandchildren, Kylie Dodson, Payton Dodson, Callen Dodson and Lilyanna Scarbrough. Visitation will be on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sawyer George Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at the Sawyer George Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Violet, Highway 44, Robstown, Texas 78380. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
