Marshall Wayne Shambo, 31, passed away June 16th, 2014. He was born November 10th, 1982, in Corpus Christi, to Milton ‘Wayne’ Shambo and Donna Shambo-Voyles. He attended Flour Bluff High School. He served in the United States Air Force and continued to be actively involved with the American Legion and all of their many charity functions over the years. He was a father, son, brother, and friend to many. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and boating. His passing is shared with his girlfriend Ronnie Jean Renfro. They will both be mourned and remembered forever. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Shambo. He is survived by his two children, Jacob and Avery Shambo, mother Donna Shambo-Voyles; sisters, Tammy Arndt and Heather VanMetre; brother-in-law Audric Arndt, nephews – Mason and Tyler Arndt; step mother, Debbie VanMetre, step brother and sister-in-law Brian and Jennifer VanMetre and their children Axel and Coral VanMetre; grandparents, Garth and Josie Herro, K and Sam Shaheen, and Milton and Daisy Shambo; and many loved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial Services will be conducted on Monday, June 23rd, 2014, at the Sawyer-George Funeral Chapel at 10:00 A.M. with Chaplain Walter Parr, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wounded Warriors or The American Legion.
