Marion Smith

Marion Joyce Wilson Smith, 83, of Corpus Christi, Texas, a former longtime resident of Bishop and Robstown, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011. She was born October 31, 1927 in Kosse, Texas to Luther B. and Nora Mae Crab O'Neal. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Franklin Don Smith and William Royce "Ben" Wilson; her son, Billy Wayne Wilson; her sisters, Beatrice De Spain and Evon Moore; and her brother, L. B. O'Neal. She is survived by her brother, Nolan O'Neal of Bryan, Texas; three grandchildren, Stephanie Urquidez of Ingleside, Texas, Benjamin Wilson of Dallas, Texas and Michael Wilson of Portland, Texas; nine great grandchildren, Skyler, Sadie, Logan, Alexis, Paige, Cameron, Dalton, Dylan and Abigail; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 7 P.M. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Friday, January 21, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Wilson, Michael Wilson, Patrick Kelly, Galan Kelly and Rufus Urquidez.
