Marian Shenk

Marian Caroline Jauer Shenk, 92, of Orange Grove, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 in Robstown, Texas. She was born September 4, 1922 in Karnes City, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. E. “Tony” Shenk; her parents, Monroe Otto Jauer and Callie Marie Appling Jauer; her siblings, Rose Marie Blair, Wilma Faye Dennis and Monroe Otto Jauer, Jr.; and her daughter, Sandra Kaye Wilson. She is survived by her son, A. E. “Eddie” Shenk, Jr. and his wife, Zula; her siblings, Clyde David Jauer, Velma Maurine Worden, Margaret Pauline Neal, Francis Shirley Hurley, and Robert Wayne “Buddy” Jauer; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 A.M. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jody Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mark Jones, Larry Jauer, Monte Jauer, Randy Jauer, Rick Jauer and Conner Steward. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to River Hills Baptist Church or to their favorite charity.
