Mari Pohlers

Mari Bess "Susan" Pohlers, 50, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 after a long illness. She was born February 17, 1962 in Alice, Texas. She was a faithful homemaker and loving mother who enjoyed her family, flowers and kittens. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nadine Copeland. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Alan W. Pohlers of Corpus Christi, Texas; her daughters, Amber (William) Silva and Heather Hentz of Corpus Christi, Texas; a grandson, Tristen Edgemon of Corpus Christi, Texas; her father, Earl (Bessie) Laws of Lockhart, Texas; her brother, Ray (Carol) Laws of Refugio, Texas. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
