Margie Shelburne

Margie Hubrel Shelburne, age 91, of Robstown, Texas formerly of Taft, Texas, passed away April 10, 2014. She was born February 25, 1923 in Arden, Arkansas to William and Verna Lewis Hubrel. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gordon Scott and Sanford Shelburne and her son Larry Shelburne. She is survived by her daughters, Judith Rylant and Cheryl Shelburne; two brothers, Joseph Hubrel, and Leo Hubrel; seven grandchildren, Melissa Hart Dobbs (Randy), Wesley Hart, DeAn Rylant Dawson (Karl), Nicholas Shelburne (Kimberly), Mark Shelburne, Brian Shelburne, Erika Shelburne; eight great grandchildren, Beau Egbert (Cassie), Garrett Egbert, Conner Seaton, Ethan Shelburne, Alexandria Dawson, Taylor Dawson, Liam Shelburne, Phebe Shelburne; two great great grandchildren, Paris Egbert, Tripp Egbert; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to the “Rivera Family” for their love and care of Margie. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Taft Memorial Park Cemetery in Taft, Texas with Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Heart Association.
