Margaret Wall Haynie Swartz, age 80, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away September 16, 2012 with her family at her side. She was born July 8, 1932 in Carthage, Missouri to Hank and Marguerite Wall. Margaret graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Sociology and was a Social Worker at the YWCA in Corpus Christi, Texas. She taught in the Tuloso-Midway and Mathis School districts retiring in the mid ‘90s. She was a swimming instructor during the summers and taught many children to swim in the Annaville area. Margaret served as the Vice-President of the Audubon Outdoor Club of Corpus Christi, Texas. She loved bird watching and spending time with her family and friends. She loved music and played in the "Bud Whittington" band. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Richard and John Wall and her husband Louis Claren "Bud" Haynie, Jr. She is survived by her husband, James Swartz; children, Debbie Haynie (Jim) Donaldson of Wimberley, Texas, David (Charlotte) Haynie of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mark (Linda) Haynie of New Braunfels, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the River Hills Baptist Church, 16318 FM 624, Robstown, Texas 78380.
