Madie Adkison

Madie Louise Adkison, 93, of Corpus Christi, TX, went to be with the Lord on March 3rd, 2021.

Madie was born in Iredell, Texas to Frank and Sarah Parsons on October 6th, 1927. She went to school in Iredell, Texas. Once out of school, she married Clifford Adkison on June 22nd, 1946 in Meridian, Texas. She worked as a long time BBQ Cook before becoming the best wife, mother, and Mammaw around.

Madie is preceded in death by her husband Clint Clifford Adkison, sons Gerald (Jerry) and David Adkison, and grandson Patrick David Alphin.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Alphin (Patrick), of Corpus Christi, Texas, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials or flowers may be sent to Sawyer George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, once services are announced. Services will be held at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
