Mable Smith

Mable Rutha Nell Smith passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on November 19,2020 at 86 yrs old. She was married 65 long wonderful years to Melvin Buck Smith. She loved playing dice and card games, reading all sorts of books, family gatherings, and watching ice skating, not to mention her slight ratpacking skills. She was always surrounded by many loved ones.

Mable was preceded in death by her sisters, Pauline Kelly, Betty Wentz, Francis Gerhardt, Patricia Edwards, and brothers, Gordon Thrailkill, Grover Thrailkill, Kenneth Thrailkill, Leon Thrailkill, Louis Thrailkill, Jack Thrailkill, and Johnny Thrailkill.

Mable was survived by her loving husband, Melvin Lewis Buck Smith; her sister, Minnie Pearl Bethel, and brother Henry Thrailkill. Her children, Roy Allen Smith, Peggy Sue Smith, James Lewis Smith (Benetta), 6 Grandchildren, Brandon Miles Smith (Audra) and Weldon Allen Smith, Clifton Jacob Andrick, Ceiben Chaunsey Smith, Lana Teri Smith, and Melvin Miles Smith, 5 Great Grandchildren Aleksi Smith and Declan Hall, Samirah and Hayden Smith, and Layla Smith.  Not to mention all the many many many nieces, nephews and greats and great greats.
