Lunett Willis

Lunett Willis, 87, born June 4, 1933 to Moses and Nellie White of Ashland, IL. She passed away November 1, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ottis Willis; sisters, Cora, Mary Lou, Lolita, Imagene, Omega, Bertha, Ester, Dorthy and Mae Nill; brothers, Warren, David and Robert Carl.

Lunett was the youngest of all 13 children. Lunett was blessed with 6 children, Daniel, Debbie, Darlene, Shirley, Bonnie and John. She had 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Of Lunett’s career, she cherished her employment at The Franklin Life Insurance of Springfield, IL, and at Service Ruber of Rock Island, IL, where she retired after mastering the heelpress maclimary. She moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in 2007 where she resided. Lunett was a true Christian and a member of The Assembly of God in Rock Island and at The Church of Hope in Corpus Christi. She lived her life to serve the Lord and all that knew her can remember her words of believing in the Lord and of the 10 Commandments. We all will miss her immensely.

A Visitation will be 12:00-2:00PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00PM.
