Louis Gallet

Louis “Floyd” Gallet passed away at his home in Robstown, Texas on March 24, 2010 at the age of 82 with his family at his bedside. He was born in Maurice, Louisiana on August 17, 1927 to Albert and Helen Simon Gallet. Floyd served in the U. S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Cameron Bowers and a brother, Lauris B. Gallet. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Edith B. Gallet; son, Louis Floyd Gallet, Jr. (Pam) of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Patricia Ann Brand (Richard) of Bishop, Texas; grandchildren, Chris Gallet (Lisa), Jana Dawn Gallet of Corpus Christi, Texas, Conrad Bowers (Erin) of San Antonio, Texas; seven great grandchildren; brother, John Gallet (Wanda) of Orange, Texas. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, and Nurses on Wheels Hospice for the loving care they gave our loved one. Also, the family wishes to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the members of River Hills Baptist Church for their prayers and support. Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Thornton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the River Hills Baptist Church Building Fund, Nurses on Wheels Hospice or the Corpus Christi Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
