Lou Dunlavy

Lou Ann Dunlavy, 79, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012. She was born August 29, 1933 in Thorndale, Texas to George Washington and Nola Ruby Carlyle. She was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life of 56 years, Robert Henry "Bob" Dunlavy, Sr. and a son, Robert Henry "Bobby" Dunlavy, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Bill (Judy) Dunlavy of Alice, Texas and Tommy (Starla) Dunlavy of Calallen, Texas; grandsons, Billy (Ashli) Dunlavy and Joby Dunlavy of Alice, Texas and Ryan Dunlavy of Calallen, Texas; one granddaughter, Lezlie Dunlavy of Calallen, Texas; great grandsons, Dustin and Walker Dunlavy of Alice, Texas; sister-in-law, Sally (Clyde) Pray of Cedar Lane, Texas; nephew, Mike (Susan) Martin of Houston, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. with the family present from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Monday, November 19, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with David Tiner officiating. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jody Keys, Oscar Zepeda, Tommy Miller, Rick Solomon, Preston Klemcke and Joe Hinojosa. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Connor, Clyde Pray, David Miller, Jeff Janak and Dennis Meyers.
