Lindy Moore

Lindy Shelton Moore passed away on January 18, 2017. Lindy decided to finally rest and be fitted for her wings, after her battle with pancreatic cancer. Lindy was born on December 9, 1956 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Dusty Shelton; her sister, Jean Shelton Wells. Lindy is leaving behind her husband and best buddy of 22 years, Danny Moore; her daughters, Brandi Smith of Flour Bluff and Dustie Smith Finch (Beau) of Corpus Christi; step-children, Billy Moore (Becky), Kelly Moore Kane (Brian), Aaron Moore (Roxanne); sisters, Shirley Shelton Brannan of San Leon, Texas and Mary Shelton Swann of Winnsboro, Texas; brother, Sonny Shelton of Scroggins, Texas; eight grandchildren, Shealeigh and Layni Thompson, Brealinn, Bryce and Braxton Finch, Justin Moore, Aubrey Moore and Patrick Kane; several nieces and nephews and many friends who were loved as family. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4 PM Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 AM Monday, January 23, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Burial will be at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
