Linda Hibbitts

Linda Joy Moyers Hibbitts was born October 4, 1941 in rural St. Francois County, MO. Her life on this earth ended on August 2, 2015 in Corpus Christi, TX. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Henry Moyers, her mother Ruby Aileen (Smith) Moyers (Known as Dean), two brothers Charles Junior Moyers and Alton Ray Moyers. She is survived by Gerald Ray Hibbitts, (her husband of 48 years); one sister, Caroline Jean and Joe Edward Puckett of Willard, MO; one daughter Lana Beth and William Akison of Springfield, MO; two sons, Keith Allen and Janette Hibbitts of Little Elm, TX, & Todd Eric and Jessica Hibbitts of Cypress, TX; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was an accomplished singer and pianist having a special love for God and Southern Gospel Music. A memorial will be held on Tuesday, August 4 at the Bible Believers Baptist Church, 1701 Rand Morgan Rd., Corpus Christi, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00PM with the service beginning at 7:00 PM. A memorial for Linda will be held on Saturday, August 15th, 2015 with a time of visitation beginning at 3:00 PM and the service starting at 4:00 PM. The family requests that instead of flowers, donations to BBB Church, (earmarked for S.E.A.O.F) be given to build a "Hope House" in memory of Linda.
