Linda Cummings

Llano, Texas Linda Lee Cummings, 71, of Llano, Texas and formerly a longtime resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Fredericksburg, Texas. She was born on July 19, 1946 in Fremont, Nebraska to Frank Fredrick and Martha Marie Callahan Kirchmann. She graduated from Roy Miller High School and retired from Cardiology Associates in Corpus Christi. Linda was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Richard, Marvin and Jim Kirchmann; two sisters, Martha Dieckmann and Mary Galloway; and a grandchild, Cody Bass. She is survived by her husband, Roger E. Cummings; three sons, Jason M. (Kim) Cummings, Jarret S. (Rachel) Cummings and Justin T. Cummings; a sister, Sue (Steve) Jones; four grandchildren, Cole Bass, Carly Key, Zane Cummings and Ella Cummings; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday, August 7, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with David Srygley officiating. Burial will follow in La Rosa Cemetery in Woodsboro, Texas.
