Linda Callis

Linda Jean Lankford Callis, 63, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went home to the Lord on October 9th, 2021.
She was born on December 16th, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas to Gayland Ray and Carlene Lankford.
Linda graduated from Tuloso-Midway High School in 1976, and went on to get her Associates Degree in Office Management from Del Mar College.
Linda felt that her greatest accomplishment was raising her two sons, Brandon Ray and Collan Ray, to be the wonderful, loving young men that they are today. She loved being a mother and taking care of her boys. She enjoyed volunteering her time, especially when her sons found organizations that they were passionate about, including the FFA and Police Explorers. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the arts, especially music and the theater. Everything that Linda held close to her heart, you can see on display in her sons.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, William Anthony Callis, her sons, Brandon Ray (Brandy) Callis and Collan Ray Callis, as well as her father, Gayland Ray Lankford, and mother, Carlene Lankford.
Services will be held at Annaville Baptist Church on October 23rd, 2021, at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the South Texas C.O.P.S. "Concerns of Police Survivors" or to Annaville Baptist Church in her name.
