Woolery Lewis Woolery, age 77, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on August 15, 2012, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born January 8, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to John Woolery and Helen Bean Woolery. Lewis and his family lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, for 16 years before relocating to Corpus Christi, Texas in 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother. Lewis is survived by his wife of 29 years, Elaine Woolery; stepdaughter, LaShea (Thomas) Tiffin; stepson, Shane Knox; sons, Brian and Russell Woolery; granddaughters; Ashlynn and Kaylee Racine and Makenzee Tiffin. Lewis served our country for 12 years in the United States Air Force. He was an Airline Captain for Braniff Airlines for 32 years and also was a United States National Aerobatic Champion. A Memorial Service with full military honors will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 24, 2012 at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with The Rev. Stan Whites officiating.
