Lesli Mcguire

Lesli Ramey McGuire, 66, passed away November 21, 2017. She was born August 29, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to Myron and Lela Ramey. She was raised in Corpus Christi where she graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1969. After high school she went on to attend and graduate from the University of Texas in Austin with a major in English. Throughout her lifetime she remained a member of the Texas Exes and a loyal fan of the Texas Longhorns. Lesli was a school teacher for CCISD and Corpus Christi Christian School in the years before she married. Lesli was a devoted member of the Morningside Drive Church of Christ in Alice, Texas where she raised her family. Lesli was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Lee McGuire, Jr. as well as her sister, Lori Wilbur Dodson and her children, John McGuire, Andrea McGuire and Ashley Shoemake all of Corpus Christi. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas with Dale Wilson officiating.
