Lee Ann Black, 73, of Corpus Christi, TX, left this Earth July 6th, 2022.
Lee Nolan and Marcella Gorman welcomed Lee Ann into this world on April 8th, 1949 in Fairmont, MN. Later they would reside in McAllen, TX, where Lee Ann spent her childhood, teens, and early adult life. Eventually she settled in Corpus Christi, TX.
Lee Ann was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where sharing her beautiful voice in song as a member of the church choir gave her great joy.
While Lee Ann held several different jobs, her time working at the Villa of Corpus Christi as a receptionist and coordinator gave her great satisfaction. Speaking fondly of the people at this assisted living facility one could see how much Lee Ann enjoyed her work.
Lee Ann is survived by her son, Steven Black of Denver, CO; brothers, Church Gorman (Carol) of Lubbock, TX, Roland Lee Gorman (Nita) of Watauga, TX; sister, Margaret Gorman Masters (Michael) of Tampa, FL; cousin, Tommy Solomon (Deanna) of Corpus Christi, TX; as well as many other beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. Also surviving Lee Ann is her loyal and cherished friend, Mary Lutz of Corpus Christi, TX, and many friends she made over the years.
Preceding Lee Ann in death are her husband, George Tompkins; her parents, Lee Nolan and Marcella Gorman; grandparents, Elizabeth and Charles Blint and Gertrude and Steve Gorman.
