Lee Doubrava, 77, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2014 at her home after a long illness. She was born March 23, 1937 in Linton, Indiana. Lee was a longtime member of the Arlington Heights Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Ashcraft and Iva Mae Carr Ashcraft Bassett, her step-father, Robert Kenneth Bassett, and her sister, Jacqueline Joyce Bocook. She is survived by her husband, Allen Doubrava; her daughter, Lorri Doubrava; her sons, Allen “Butch” Doubrava, Jr. and Keith Doubrava; her brother, Kenneth (Gretchen) Bassett; one grandson, Jonathan Flack; one great grandson, Marcus Martinez, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. with the family present from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, June 23, 2014 at Arlington Heights Church of Christ with Gary Lowe officiating. Graveside services will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas with Gene Polvado officiating.
