Lee Doubrava

Lee Doubrava, 77, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2014 at her home after a long illness. She was born March 23, 1937 in Linton, Indiana. Lee was a longtime member of the Arlington Heights Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Ashcraft and Iva Mae Carr Ashcraft Bassett, her step-father, Robert Kenneth Bassett, and her sister, Jacqueline Joyce Bocook. She is survived by her husband, Allen Doubrava; her daughter, Lorri Doubrava; her sons, Allen “Butch” Doubrava, Jr. and Keith Doubrava; her brother, Kenneth (Gretchen) Bassett; one grandson, Jonathan Flack; one great grandson, Marcus Martinez, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. with the family present from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, June 23, 2014 at Arlington Heights Church of Christ with Gary Lowe officiating. Graveside services will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas with Gene Polvado officiating. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Canning, Joey Canning, Gary Doubrava, Bill Johnson, Don Staley and Rick Staley. Those who wish may make contributions to Bandina Christian Youth Camp, % Jerry Bishop, P. O.
