Lazaro Caceres, Jr.

Lazaro Caceres, Jr., 56, beloved Father and Son, was called to his eternal resting place on November 5, 2022. He entered this world on September 29, 1966 in Corpus Christi, TX. Lazaro proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1985 - 1992. He is survived by his daughter Lori Gonzalez (Lawrence); grandchildren Olivia, Edward and Evan Martinez; parents Lazaro and Emma Caceres; siblings Norma Caceres, Susie Rios (Larry), Andy Caceres (Joni) and Rene Caceres. Also, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Lazaro loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events, fishing, reading, watching sports (Yankees, Raiders, and Celtics), listening to heavy metal,  and most of all he enjoyed his time spent with his grandson Edward.

A celebration of life will be held November 15, 2022 at Sawyer - George Funeral Home.

The visitation will be 10:30am - 1:30pm followed by graveside ceremony at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 2pm.
