Lawrence Everett Witt passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the age of 47 in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by his family. He lived in Sandia, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1972 in Kingsville, Texas to Linda Bade Witt and Leland Roy Witt, Sr. He is a graduate of Tuloso-Midway High School, an Eagle Scout and proudly served in the US Army for 8 ½ years. He was an avid sportsman, a fan of NASCAR and Dirt Track Racing. He is survived by his wife, Tracey Rene Witt; son, Austin Tyler Witt (Shana) of Corpus Christi, TX; step-daughter, Madelyn Martinez; step-granddaughter Ella Hayes Gonzales; son, Justin Lathan Witt parents, Leland,Sr, and Linda Witt of Driscoll, TX; sister, Shelly Monse (Jimmy) of Robstown, TX, brother Leland Witt, Jr. (Angie) of Driscoll, TX, sister Laura Hall (Jason) of Corpus Christi, TX, sister, Leslie Runnels (Lucas) of Kingsville, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe Everett Witt and Maxine Ricketson Witt, and maternal grandparents Edward Joseph Bade and Sybile Mrazek Bade. Memorial Service will be held, at 12:30 P.M. Friday, June 5,2020 at Sawyer George Funeral Home, 12497 Leopard St. Corpus Christi Texas 78410. Burial will be at 2:00 P. M. Costal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
