Laurie Scott

Laurie Kay Scott, age 58, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away August 24, 2015. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 5, 1957 to David T. and Barbara Warren. Laurie was an avid gardener and loved to fish. She loved animals, the beach, and rock and roll music. She always gave 110% and was a dedicated and generous person. Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, David T. and Barbara Warren, and her aunt, Charlotte Hines. She is survived by her daughters, April Ann Scott of Corpus Christi and Amber Lee Scott of Round Rock, Texas; sisters, Jennifer Lee Hoskinson (Vance) of Victoria, Texas, and Lynne Ann Taylor (Wally) of Austin, Texas, many nieces and nephews, and all of her fur babies. Memorial Services will be conducted on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. in the Arlington Heights Church of Christ with David Srygley officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Gulf Coast Humane Society, 3118 Cabaniss Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
