Laura Patricia Sanchez, born at 23 weeks, was a gift given to us on October 31, 2002 and God called her home April 6, 2017. She is preceded in death by her four brothers who are now joyfully together. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Rosa of Corpus Christi; sister, Trina Michelle Benavides of Austin; grandparents, Cleto and Isabel Rosa of Roma, Texas; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins from the Valley, Freer, Corpus Christi, Deer Park, Dallas, Oklahoma and all over the state of Texas. She was an angel that touched everyone who got to meet her with her big, big smile and those big brown eyes. Laura's laugh was contagious. Laura was loved by many and a blessing to all. Laura loved her mom, Patricia Rosa and sister, Trina Benavides, Mary Rhodes, her provider and nurse Misty Hale. Laura’s favorite things were her music, Dora the Explorer, and to be read to, especially “Little Witch.” The family would like to thank everyone who touched Laura from the beginning to the time she went to be in Heaven. The nurses from Deconess, PSA, Nurses on Wheels, Epic Health Services, Educare, Calallen ISD, Calallen DME, Travis Medical, Dr’s Ernesto and. Luisa Lira and staff, Dr. Jon Robert and staff, Dr. Carol Deline and staff, Driscoll Foundation Children's Hospital, HEB Pharmacy Violet Road, along with all her therapists and everyone who touched her life. Last but not least, the doctor who brought her safely into this world and his wonderful staff, Dr. Michael Karagas and his wonderful wife Karen and his wonderful nurse, Amanda Carrion. Thank you for walking this journey with us. Lord Jesus thank you for putting this beautiful angel in my life I know that she has completed her stay here on earth and you have called her home. I am so grateful for the time you shared her with us and the immense love she gave us and we gave her. She was a very brave and courageous soul, full of life and love, but her body was weak and broken. I have been blessed to have been her mother. It is NOT goodbye my precious, it is farewell until we are reunited for all eternity. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL MIJA MI LAURITA. You are now at peace. So rock those beautiful golden wings my sweetness and fly to your heart’s content. I am so proud of you. Kisses for my Laurita always.
