Larry Brandon

Larry Joe Brandon, 72, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 30th after a long battle with cancer. He was born on May 20, 1947 in Franklin County, KY the son of the late Marie Eddington and late Josephus Brandon. He was preceded in death by granddaughter Carrie Marie Anderson in 2000. Brother-in law Scotty Barker in 2013. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Pamela Joan Barker Brandon and two children, daughter Joanie Brandon (Jeff Hoffman) of Corpus Christi, TX and one son Larry Joe (Kristi) Brandon II of Corpus Christi, TX; granddaughter Gabrielle Brandon and grandson Trey Brandon. Sister-in laws Mary Lou (John) Deharte of Morehead, KY and Angie Lytle Morehead, KY, several nieces, nephews and his best friend a Boston Terrier "Clover." Larry had 40-year career in maintenance that included many jobs through the years. He retired from Walker Machinery, Charleston West Virginia in 2010 as Field Service Manager which was the highlight of career. He finished working in 2016 from C&J Energy Services Corpus Christi, TX. Larry had joy and love for life. He loved spending time with his family. Two of his favorite hobbies was golfing and playing pool with Joey and Trey. He and Pam loved antiquing and traveling together. He would make or fix anything we requested. There wasn't anything that he wasn't able to create or repair. He truly was a "jack of all trades." Larry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family.
