Kevin Keith Tyler, 61, of Robstown Texas, passed away on December 18, 2024. He was born in San Angelo, Texas on February 21, 1963 to Olin Keith Tyler and Anne (McCulloch) Tyler. He attended high school in McAllen, Texas.
Kevin had a passion for God's word, riding his BMW motorcycle, scuba diving, helicopters, and all types of aircraft. He was a US Army First Sergeant and worked at Corpus Christi Army Depot until his retirement. He was a Christian worshipper with Arlington Heights Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Olin Keith and Anne Tyler; grandparents, H.E., (Evalee) McCulloch, Clarence (Edna) Tyler; Uncle, Ben and Aunt, Ann McCulloch; Stepdaughter, Karla Jones, and all his military brothers and sisters. May they rest in peace.
He is survived by wife, Sandra Heinen; step daughter, Stacie (David) Sean; Keith Omundson, Hendrix Brisco, four daughters, Patricia "Trish" Alaniz (Adrain) Kai, Brett, Evelyn, Quint and Ezra, Ashley Rodriguez (Hector) Hector Jr, Alec and A Jax. Katherine "Katie" Hanzelka (Micah) Lillian, Benjamin and Oliver. Jennifer "Kore" Norman; Sister, Doshal (Robert) Steflick, Jessica (Ross) Powell, Nate Haley Steflik; Cousins, Evalee McCulloch, Ben McCulloch (Heather); Dive Son, Brendan Churchman; Dive Daughter, Shae Noland; Sons in love, Tony Lopez, Dylan and Rylan Lopez; Brother from another mother, John Buck; his Arlington Heights Family and his CCAD family.
The gathering for family and friends will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 9:30 am - 10:00 am with the Memorial Service starting at 10:00am at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.
