Kenneth W. Miller, 84, of Corpus Christi, Texas and a former longtime resident of Bishop, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 26, 2010. He was born November 10, 1926 in Minburn, Iowa to Elza John Miller and Stella Smithers Miller. Kenneth was a U. S. Army veteran serving during WWII, a Pioneer Seed Dealer and a lifelong farmer. He had been a Deacon in the First Baptist Church in Bishop, Texas, where he was a member for over 60 years, and presently was a member of First Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a member of the Gideons International and had a heart for Missions. He was preceded in death by his son, David Miller, his daughter, Molly Black and grandson, Jeffrey Timme. He is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Doris Miller of Corpus Christi, Texas; his daughters, Andranette (Bill) Humphries of Austin, Texas and Phyllis (Perry) Timme of Farmington, New Mexico; his son, Mark (Jeannie) Miller of Corpus Christi, Texas; seven grandchildren, Kenneth (Lauren) Humphries, Andrew (Stacy) Miller, Douglas Humphries, Katie (Jordan) Patterson, Elizabeth Humphries, Grant Browning Miller, and Stephen Timme; great grandchild, Dorothy Grace Miller; son-in-law, Joe Black of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter-in-law, Kelli Bergoon of Taft, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Celebration will be held at 3 P.M. Monday, November 29, 2010 at First Baptist Church Chapel on Ocean Drive with Rev. Hugh White and Rev. Ronny Marriott officiating. "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might" Ecclesiastes 9:10. In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make contributions to the Gideons International, P. O.
