Kellas Myers

Kellas Dale Myers, 86, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017. He was born March 8, 1931 in Driscoll, Texas to Steven and Carra Nell Wooten Myers. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a driver for Acme Truck. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Webb and Bobbie Jean James and a brother, Joseph Myers. He is survived by his wife, Janet M. Myers; a son, K. Dale Myers, Jr.; two daughters, Misty Dennard and Gayla French; two grandsons, Chance Phillips and Michael Jason Dennard; a granddaughter, Michelle Phillips; a great granddaughter, McKenna Merklin; step-sons, Scott (Suzie) Barrow and Bryan Barrow; a step-daughter, Lee-Anne (Mark) Pearl; a brother, Marvin “Pat” (Ruth Ann) Myers; a half-brother, James Cade; step- grandsons, Shelby and Sawyer Barrow and Hunter Pearl; step-granddaughters, Emily and Madeline Pearl; several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services with full military honors will be conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
