Kelby Joe Boultinghouse, 62, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 29, 2013 at his home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born July 17, 1950. Kelby loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and was a loyal fan of the Calallen Wildcats where he graduated from high school. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe V. and Anna Bell Whitfield Boultinghouse. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Deb Boultinghouse; his sons, Kyle and Kelby Boultinghouse, Harley, Missy and Chico, his loyal companions all of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sister, Kathy (Carroll) Estes of Vernal, Utah and their son, Travis Estes of Salt Lake City, Utah, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Mary Beth Green of Milton, Virginia and their children Peter Green and Rebecca Douglas. Memorial services will be conducted at 3 P.M. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at River Hills Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Simmons officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 7400 Louis Pasteur, Suite 200, San Antonio, Texas 78229-4542 or to Lost Pet Hotline, P. O. Box 271999, Corpus Christi, Texas 78427-1999 or any pet rescue organization of your choice. The family would like to thank his longtime caregiver, Evelyn Garcia, his other caregivers, Elma Sanchez and Maria Gonzalez for their special and loving care of Kelby and also to everyone at Lighthouse Hospice, especially Dr. Kent Tompkins, Andrea and Paula.
