Kathy Schubert

Kathy Lynn Szepessy Schubert loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away September 15, 2018 from a sudden illness. Kathy was a caring, considerate person, who helped others in life. Now through her organ donation she will continue this legacy and be a hero to more than just her family. She was born April 14, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Robert C. and Katherine (Kitty) Denton. She is survived by her loving husband T.L. Schubert , Jr. of Corpus Christi Texas; three sons, Michael Szepessy , Jeremy( Candice,) Szepessy, and Lee Schubert; sister, Cynthia Newman of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Billy Denton and Bobby Bates; five grandchildren, Haley, Shelby, Jocelyn, Aubrey and Evan Szepessy; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and step father, Kitty and Robert Bates and brother, Bobby Charles Denton. Visitation will be from 1:30 P.M to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 24, 2018 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
