Kathryn Bailey

Kathryn Geneva Mills Bailey was born April 6, 1923 in Montague County, Texas to John J. and Ruth Thomas Mills. She married Gerald Dean Bailey on April 23, 1946. Together they were blessed with three daughters. Gerald preceded her in death on November 3, 1990. Geneva passed away on July 22, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, four brothers, and son in law, Robert Davis. Her three daughters and their spouses, Janese Davis of Lubbock, TX, survive her. Karen and John Vertreese of Taos, NM. Barbara and Thad Wilkinson of Corpus Christi TX. Five granddaughters and their spouses Landa and Michael Cognasi of Lubbock, TX, Tasha and Adam Penner of Joplin, MO, Melanie and Bo Black of Amarillo, TX, Jonilee and Brandon Hampton of Perryton, TX, and Hallye and Kyle Fletcher of Wylie, TX and one grandson, Todd Wilkinson of Corpus Christi, TX. Ten great grandchildren round out the family to date, 5 girls and 5 boys. We thank you Mom, Mamaw, for leading the way in life. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview, Texas.
