Kathleen Irma Davis

Kathleen “Kathy” Davis was born March 25,1944 to Gus and Annie Doege in Lavernia, Texas.
Kathy was the youngest of four boys and three girls. The family nicknamed her, "Baby" and it stuck with her most of her life. All of her brothers and sisters spoiled her because she was so much younger than them. Her siblings ranged from 24 to 8 when she arrived. Her dad was a carpenter and mother a homemaker. They were a hardworking family . Her parents were married for 66 years. Kathy married at 19 and had her first daughter, Denise at age of 20 and her second daughter, Deanna at age 24. It wasn’t until she was 64 years old when she met and fell in love with her husband W.A Davis. They married on January 1, 2006. He was everything to her. They were like teenagers for all their 16 years of marriage. She lost him suddenly in October 20, 2021, only 8 months ago. They were inseparable up until that terrible day. She spoke of him often and missed him more than anything. She longed for the day she would see him again. On June 22, 2022, she passed away unexpectedly. One thing that gives us peace is knowing she will be with him again.

She is survived by her two daughters, Denise Kosub and Deanna Miser(Johnny): 6 grandchildren, Tandy Lovelace(Colin),  Brandy Nichols (Matt), Zach Miser, Brittany Castillo, Mandy Griggs, and Paul Kosub; 8 great grandchildren, Brooke, Lilah, Lennox, Lawson, Ayzli, Saydee, Hector and Kevin . Kathy will be greatly missed by all of her family. She loved everyone so much and told them daily.
