Karla Jones

Karla Marie Jones was born in Beeville, Texas on January 2, 1978. She was the first girl of the new year. Karla left this earth to be with God and Jesus on July 27, 2014. Karla loved people and enjoyed visiting, laughing, creating art work and being there for others. She was an honor graduate from TMHS and earned her associate degree of Registered Nursing from Del Mar College. Karla’s purpose in this life was to help others and she did this best when she was taking care of the sick. Even before she was a nurse she helped care for her Nana and PoePoe as they died from cancer. She is survived by her father and step mom, Craig and Angie Jones, her grandparents Don & Claudine Jones, her sister, Stacie Jones, nephews Sean & Keith, her “sister from another mother” Kristen Hovda Shepard, she was an honorary family member of Allen & Debby Hovda. Her Uncle Kerry & Angela Jones, Aunt Sharon Jones, Aunt Hope and Jim Driskill and all her cousins, Step Grandfather Roy Bertram. Her mother Sandra Heinen and her friend Kevin Tyler. Waiting on the other side for her were her grandparents, Johnnie and Betty Heinen, her uncles Keith Jones and David Heinen, and many saints that are enjoying Karla’s beautiful laugh and smile, May they all rest in peace until we meet again. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.
