June Farr Sullivan, age 90, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 18, 2024. June was born on June 20, 1934, to John & Sarah Farr, in San Augustine, Texas. She was one of 11 children. June retired from the State of Texas Comptrollers office where she worked for many years.
June was married for 34 years to Charles Sullivan, with whom she planted her roots in the Dallas area. June was a Pilar of service at her local Episcopal church. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, vacations to the Frio with her family, music, entertaining, socializing, telling jokes and her trips to casinos with her friends and family. June was known for always looking her best from her hair to her shoes, usually wearing her favorite color, green. June's all-time favorite hobbies were painting and sewing. June left the world better than she found it. June was a force of nature and was loved fiercely. June was a beacon of strength for decades. June was a matriarch on earth, but now an angel in Heaven. Ours souls are at peace, knowing she is now resting in the arms of Jesus.
June is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, both of her parents, nine of her siblings, her son, John Howard and grandson, John Eric.
She is survived by her brother Pat (Patricia), daughter Sara (Steve), son Tom (Sylvia). Grandchildren Krystal (Leo), Amy (Blane), Sande (Nick) and Katie. Great Grandchildren Kamryn (Paul), Rylan, Madelynn, Kyleigh, Aiden, Sophia and Silas.
June's family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
