Julian Gonzalez

Julian R. Gonzalez, age 73, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away May 27, 2016. He was born July 15, 1942 in Benavides, Texas to Manuel and Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez served as Chairperson for the Robstown United Council, former Commissioner for the Robstown Housing Authority, served as Volunteer Fire Department Treasurer 1991-1992, former Utility Board Member and a Reserve Deputy Constable Pct. 5. He worked for the La Porderos Christian Radio Station and was a D.J. for Liberty Radio. Julian is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cynthia Gonzalez; eight children; four sisters; two brothers; numerous grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Robstown Memorial Park.
