Judy Garza

Judy Garza, 74, lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer on March 15, 2017. Judy was born in Dallas, Texas on February 3, 1943. She was a 1961 graduate of Roy Miller High School. She was employed at the City County Health Department and the Corpus Christi Fire Department. Judy is preceded in death by her mother and father, Frances and Fred Patton, Sr. and her sister, Charline Boenker. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Roberto Garza; her son, Ronnie Lightfoot; two daughters, Trudy Steen (John) and Tonya Hines; two step-children, Rene Garza and Roxanna Garcia (Alonzo); her brother, Fred Patton, Jr. (Tracy); her sister, Barbara Patton; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two nephews and six nieces. Visitation will be held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m.
