Judy Ferrell

Judy Ann Ferrell, 71, of Orange Grove, Texas passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at her home. She was born February 11, 1944 in San Diego, Texas to Sam and Katie Lee Homan Davis. Judy was a member of the Orange Grove Church of Christ and was a bus driver for the Orange Grove I.S.D. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry Franklin Ferrell. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Jim) Karstens of Corpus Christi, Texas and Jeri (Donny) Dixon of Lake City, Texas; five grandchildren, Billy Pinder, Kayla (Blake) Charlton, Joshua (Stephanie) Simnacher, Andrew (Brittany) Pinder and Matthew Simnacher; 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Sammy and Emmett Davis. Visitation will begin at 9 A.M. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Orange Grove Church of Christ. The Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Orange Grove Church of Christ with Joey Vaughan officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
