Juan Reyna

Juan Bosquez Reyna, 94, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Friday, December 2, 2016. He was born September 22, 1922 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was employed as a butcher and as a truck driver and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Delfina Bosquez Reyna; his wife, Herminia Salazar Reyna; his daughter, Christina Reyna; his grandson, Toby Keiper; his sister, Margarita Martinez; and his brother, Lino Reyna, Sr. He is survived by his children, Betty Keiper Martin, Mary (Manuel) Lugo, Janie (Ysidro) Puente, Trinidad Luna, Dolores Baskin, Linda (Richard) Resendez, John, Jr. (Janie) Reyna, Ruby Reyna, Susie Reyna and Marty (Polly) Reyna; his 1st Cousin, Maria Gomez; 25 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 17great great grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Monday, December 5 , 2016 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Tuesday, December 6 , 2016 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Gabriel Coelho as celebrant. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ray Flores, Lino Reyna, John Baskin, Stormy Keiper, Thad Leatherman, Ernie Garcia, Roger Davis, and Damian Soliz. Special thanks to Nurses on Wheels, Jana Gillette, Christi Garcia, Marcus Lugo, Marty Reyna and Rudy Luna, Jr. for helping in the care of our Dad.
